Steve made a swing fix very easy to accomplish. I sent in a simple video and he dissected it in no time. He gave me some informative training tips which I have already put into practice!

I've had several lessons over the years but none have been as straightforward and simple as this! Wish I had started with Steve Whidden years ago!! I highly recommend his instruction to anyone who is in a rut or stuck repeating bad habits.

I had the pleasure to work with Steve for close to 20 years. Steve has a great understanding of the golf swing and continues to study and adapt to the changing trends.  He also has a strong understanding and use of technology, such as FlightScope.  He has a desire to help all levels of golfers, including the ability to teach and help elite level students.

Steve is an excellent teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I had a series of lessons with him a few years ago and he really helped me improve my game. He doesn't try to rebuild your swing but takes the parts that are working and builds off of them. He is also very good at helping with your pre-shot routine, so that you can stay consistent. I highly recommend Steve as a golf instructor.

Steve is a superb teacher of this great game of golf. He tailors his advice to your swing, not some pre-programmed set of drills. Go see him - you’ll be pleased and your game will improve.

I have been lucky enough to have had golf lessons from Steve Whidden while I was a member at NORTH RIVER YACHT CLUB in Tuscaloosa,Al. Steve is an excellent teacher and very easy to work with during lessons. I highly recommend him as a golf instructor.

I met Steve Whidden several years ago and took golf lessons from him at Northriver Yacht Club. I had not played much golf for 25 years and could barely break 100. With his professional instructions he helped me become more consistent in striking the golf ball. My short game around the green made great strides while following his suggestions. I continue to practice his short-game suggestions in my warm-up prior to every round. I am dialed in from 10-60 feet. After practicing his recommendations I was able to break 80 more than once and lower my handicap!

a PGA Master Professional Steve led me through a Game Enhancement Program in 2018 while he was at North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, AL. It was focused on above all else, improving my score. The program was designed to discover what I really needed to work on and what would yield the best results. The program was over a 5–6-month timeframe and included: An initial assessment of my ability and skills, Playing 9 holes with Steve, Development of a play and practice routine utilizing video technology and feedback, A series of six private lessons with video feedback notes, Skills tracking system, A final 9 hole playing lesson, A game plan for a lifetime of golf enjoyment

Steve Whidden is a fantastic teacher. Under Steve's tutelage I played some of my very best golf. When I began working with Steve I had developed a terrible hook. Steve gave me the instruction I needed to significantly improve my ball striking which led to lower scores. Steve's simple approach was easy to understand and apply. The results were solid, powerful direct strikes on the golf ball which does a lot for one's confidence. I highly recommend Steve as an instructor. He will do wonders for your game.

I have been receiving lessons from Brett the last couple years. He has not only changed my golf game but made me love the game even more. He truly takes the time to understand my swing and what makes me comfortable and uncomfortable behind the ball. He is able to give me one or two tips and amazing things happen! I knew I selected the right golf coach to work with after my first meeting with Brett, and we didn’t even hit a golf ball. Brett took two hours of his time to discuss my golf goals, what I wanted to get out of golf lessons and then he explained why the golf ball does what it does AND how we can make it do what we want it to do. WOW, what a revelation. I have progressed from a 12 handicap down to a 9 handicap and shot my first two rounds in the 60’s (68 and 67) at the end of last year.  No, I’m not a 20 year old or even a 30 year old, I will turn 50 this year so it is not too late for you to improve your golf game....Give Brett a call, you won’t regret it.

Aaron is amazing. After a few lesions my son and I are carrying the ball 25-30 yards further and straighter. We still need want to improve our game and We found the right trainer for us.
